Rocket’s Mobile Oil was founded in January 2025 by Chance Rich, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and experienced aircraft mechanic with over nine years of high-paced, high-stress maintenance expertise. After settling in Rogersville, TN, Chance quickly recognized a gap in convenient oil change services—locals had to travel to Kingsport or Morristown for reliable options.
Rocket’s Mobile Oil was created to bridge that gap, offering a premium, time-saving solution for busy individuals who value convenience without compromising quality. Our mission is simple: to provide expert oil changes that fit seamlessly into your schedule.
The name “Rocket’s” is a nod to the Volunteer State, inspired by Tennessee’s state wild animal—the raccoon. Just like its namesake, Rocket’s Mobile Oil is built for adaptability, efficiency, and service you can trust.
